Default WS6 Rims

I've searched and cannot find the exact answer I'm looking for. Will WS6 rims mess up my speedometer in my TA? I have 16's and am looking to upgrade to the WS6 17's. I don't want to have to get anything calibrated or anything like that. I only want to do it if it's a direct swap.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Shawn

Logic prevails. As long as the overall diameter (distance from the ground to the top of the tire) remains the same, your speedo will still read the same.

This is what I would like to believe but I just wanted to check to see if anybody knew for sure. I didn't know if them being wider would have any effect.

Thanks.

As long as the tires are 275/40's you'll be OK

I'll agree with this. i swapped my stock 16's w/ 245/50/16's for ZR1's with 275/40/17's and saw no difference in my speedometer. i've gone through a couple of those "you are going xxx" radar signs and my speedometer was dead on.

Here is the spec thing.
