My local dealer got a 02 WS6 on trade in
Guy traded it in for a new Vette. Bone stock NBM, black leather, TCS, 6 speed Hurst, t tops w covers, 12 disc, power antenna, no SLP options, 20k miles. Only flaw is the rear bumper has spider cracks in the paint on the left corner. They are asking $17,900. I am very tempted in working out a deal what do you guys think I can pick it up for with the way economy is and GM?

Go in there to buy, dealers can spot tire kickers and will not waste time. Dealer always ask high prices so they can "give you a deal". I used to sell cars. Make sure no matter what, they pull it to there body shop and fix bumper. Tell them its not exactly what your looking for but good for the wife/girlfriend. Always refer to the car as "this piece of ****", until you get a contract. If it is 17000 he proably has 12000 in it. You might get it for 14000, if it has been on the lot. might come down to 15000 if he just got it, make sure to get the bumper fixed. Go to NADA.com, check retail price.

The car looks almost as good as showroom. Paint is great besides spider cracks on the rear bumper. Ill tell the guy what I want to pay and he can sit on it for the rest of the summer for 17,900 and call me when hes ready to move it.

You won't get much off a WS6 these days, especially a loaded black one. Anything going for under 14 has usually been screwed around with, modded, raced and generally ruined. If the dealer has a mint car he knows what it's worth. They don't make Pontiacs anymore, so WS6s are more than just another muscle car.
