id reuse your stock bolts though. just color code them for exactly where you took them out of. like red front blue second green third yellow forth. thats what i did with my pace setters and never looked back and never needed tightning

They'll probably flow better than stock at least. The thing about the really cheap headers I wonder about is if the primaries are all the same length or the optimum length (I think it's 33" for our cars? ), how good the welds are, how good the coating is, how the bends were made, etc etc.

Of course theyy could have just copied an existing set of headers, but that's still not going to address the quality issue(s). I'd say save the money and at least get you some pacesetters.

its a gamble. you could find a killer deal, or they might not fit at all without cutting out your floor. you get what you pay for, and ebay deals are always a question. keep in mind any other big name company does NOT offer one header for 98-02. theyre different. 01-02 didnt have egr, so they wont have the flanges for it, if needed. if you have an older LS1, then great. if not, youll have to block them off, and it doesnt look like any blockoff plates are included.

theres nothing wrong with pacesetters. mine went in without issue. when i had it dynoed, the shop owner (who was a dealer for kooks) was 'surprised' at the power i made. he said 'wow, thats in kooks range for power', if you believe in that.

well after you repalce three sets on local guys cars cuase welds break. you start to not like them. they made good power. they just didnt last.

and yes there are those guys that have had them for 8 years and never had a problem. i have never had issue with kooks or hooker. so i stick with them

Yeah, my first concern would be quality. You might gain power, but I doubt they are as well made as say... American Racing headers. Just my opinion.
