Sorry, all WS6 wheels were 17". The 16" wheel was offered on the base model Firebird, Formula & Trans Am (and Comp T/A). The WS6 wheels actually say "WS6" on the center caps. The majority of the 16" wheels said "ABS" on the center caps.

Default wheels

So there was a chrome wheel for the firebirds that looks like the ws6? What years were these on? I'm wanting to get rid of the stock silver wheels(96 firebird), but my 16" tires are new, Thanks for the help!

yes, the 98-02 Chrome wheels were 16-inchers. They resembled the design of the 98-00 WS6 Wheels. That was the only Chrome wheel available on the bird at that time. All other wheels were painted or high-polished aluminum.

4th generation WS6 wheels are 17 inch. But they do not all say WS6 on the center caps. The '02 year specific wheels have the Pontiac red arrowhead in the center, black back ground, and say Pontiac twice around the edge. WS6 is not mentioned on the center caps in '02. I can't speak for other years but the '02's are a one year only wheel and I have the originals.

There were also the rare "salad shooter" WS6 wheels too. See this page in my sticky at the top of the forum:

The only wheel not shown is the spoked wheel that was offered on WS6 cars in '01 & '02 (see photo below). Most of the '01 cars had the previous '96-'00 WS6 wheels, but a few towards the end of the '01 production run came with the new '02 WS6 wheels.

96 convertibles were called Ram Air instead of WS6, they got 16" wheels.

All Comp T/A's had 17" wheels.

Yeah, those are the wheels I have on my car, that was what I was talking about up-thread. They are 17" WS6 wheels but don't say WS6 on the center caps.
