Default Shaker Hood for 4gen T/As

I ran across this in another T/A forum and thought, I would pass it along. Its a shaker design for the 4th Gen T/A. Looks pretty good if you didn't want to go with the traditional hoods.

That is cool, but I don't think anything will ever top the WS6 hood, IMO...

Opinions differ vastly, i for one think the WS6 hood is the bottom rung on the ladder. I prefer the base hood over it even. I don't get why people think a big gape-ing huge overhung hood is cool looking. It makes the car look like it has buck teeth from the side. TO ME. I may be wierd, i get that. Shaker hood is nice, would be cooler if it extended back to the windshield. I really like those other concept TA renderings on their site.

What is it? A wiper motor cooler?

Stick non-functional body parts on a dented econobox, not on a Trans Am.

I am right there with ya brother! I'm a base model hood fan myself.

The shaker hood above was popped open when I stopped by to take pics of it, and the guy said I could shut it. I pushed down to click it shut, and it didn't budge much. I didn't want to force it, so he came over and forced it shut himself. Hopefully they got that figured out.

It doesn't look bad. It is in anyway functional? What's the sticker price?

That hood is non functional and the cast was like around a grand.
Talked to them at norwalk.
It just bolts to the top of your intake.
Not worth it IMO.
Year one had a version on the 4th gen bandit cars that was functional.

You'd better get rid of your non-functional fender vents. Unless the open space behind the plastic wheel well on your car needs vented.

Suncoast maybe? Used to make them for the LT1 Trans Am years ago, there was a blue Trans Am on CZ28.com that had it. Sure if you look on brent Frankers aperance archive you can find the pics.
