Cool Finally back in another bird..

I had a 1999 Formula I bought with 22k miles in August 2004 that I did Heads/cam/LTs with true duals that I sold in November of 2007. Then I bought a 1999 SS with bolt ons and a 12 bolt in Dec 07. I bought a 2000 Formula Firehawk in November of 2008, and sold that at the beginning of this year and a few months later sold the SS. For a few months I drove around a crappy Jeep Cherokee 4x4 and sold that 2 weeks ago.

The new car is a 2002 TA A4 with just under 48,000 miles when I picked it up. It has a cam (230/230 .612/.604 110 + 4 LSA) with supporting valve train, UD pulley, 4.10 gears, hooker LTs, true duals, Circle D 3000 Stall, lowered with Sportlines in the front and hose mod in the back, a harwood hood and a few other things that arent important like 8k hids, and poly bushings in a few spots and some other things I am probably forgetting at the moment. Does need much, if anything. Little things that it needs are the seat belt guide, a TTop shades. But other than that, its it damn good condition.

I will probably take the gears out, but other than that don't plan on doing much power wise for a little while. Will probably do some appearance mods for now.

Car is in great shape for a 2002! Got a good deal too

loud and choppy just like i like it. It scares my daughter and mother in law when i start it. Its still quieter than my old Formula since this one has magnaflow mufflers and my old Formula had Moroso spiral flow bullet mufflers

Did you ever find out what was going on with the MAP sensor and occasional rough idle/misfire?

It turned out that it was a ground. But not the way I thought...The 8 yr old optima that was in the car would still crank fine but was putting out intermittent ground power. After I got the Z and stopped driving the T/A for a couple days the old battery instantly died (finally) and i had to replace it. Once the new battery was in the problem was gone. I knew it was a ground I just never thought the battery was the actual problem...
