Here's one of the reasons why I had the car parked at the house all fancy:

My neighbor thought I was working on something to sell the car

I checked this thread out a year or two ago, nice to see some updates. What kind of power is that thing making? Gotta be fairly decent with what you've done to it.

Not sure yet, Dynotune is on the horizon. Estimate maybe 270-ish to the tires but the dyno I'll be on is pretty brutal and referred to as "Cruella" by some of the guys

It's great. Snappy acceleration and response.

Finally have the dyno sheet scanned. I'll mess with the intake stuff later, busy with a lot of other things, new job (working two jobs, transitioning out of the old one), about to have a new addition to the family, etc.

That's some solid numbers for a 3.8. mind dynoed 200 at the wheels and 225 TQ when it was a v6 and thought that felt pretty good can imagine another 50 to both. Bets it's a blast to drive.

Congrats on the new addition to the fam BTW

Cool thread. Love seeing an out of the ordinary build. Would the supercharger from a GTP fit on a 3800 V6 F body?

It requires a lot of fab work and then you can't run as much boost because there's no room for an intercooler.

I would be fighting heat soak too much in autocross to make it worth it.

Yeah, second gen brakes. AIEngineering brackets on the rear.

Testing out the induction noise from the intake side. Using an external mic tied into the gopro up front.

Any issues since you are still running ABS with a fixed caliper? Just not that big of a deal

Haven't had much chance to push it in a competitive nature. Next month tho.

There is evidence of some pad knockback during spirited driving, but I just tap the brake down the straights to firm up the pedal. I'm working on a solution for that at the moment.

Anks for the info I have been curious about doing it. I know everyone says functionally the stock ones are fine. It just looks wierd having the larger brakes up front with the smaller factories in the rear

Got my "trackday, bro!" wheels/tires mounted.

Here's hoping I can cut loose for the CAM invitational at Mineral Wells towards the end of June.
