Decided to stop putting money into the car (outside of fixing things that break) for a while, I have this idea (still estimating some numbers) that I could build a cool 1 bedroom (with future expandability possible) concrete slab on grade house (going for energy efficiency) for about 40k by doing as much labor by myself or with the help of friends and family, land around here is relatively cheap (vs a major town) for example half acre lots in a gated subdivision start around $2,500.
the real trick will be finding financing, all the banks want you to get a licensed builder to do the house which will nearly double the costs and makes it not worth it.

Repainted my rear Koni's
After being converted to DA's, revalved, rebuilt, removed and reinstalled dozens of times during the rear conversion my Koni shocks were looking pretty rough. So I bought some dupli color "school bus yellow" enamel, and some primer. I sanded them back to bare metal with an orbital sander. Applied two coats of primer, and three coats of yellow.
