LS1's yes, but some 94-96 and maybe even 97 LT1 T/A's had the lower firebird hatch. the uplevel hatch RPO T43 was a $375 option in the LT1 years (except i think 93 where all T/A's were GT's and had it)

Rear bumper
Side skirts
Those are all Trans Am.. The hatch is the only formula/V6 part on the car. Chances are it was the piece that was swapped. No way to tell by looking at is what was actually done. You can't tell either from photos if it is a true Ws6 car.

This is of course not proof but, maybe the reason why you have that smaller spoiler on the rear. I've read on different forums and mags (one or the other) that the smaller spoiler puts better downforce on the vehicle than a Trans Am's, again speculation but, maybe the previous owner changed it out...etc., etc. Other than that the posts above are correct check the VIN and should give you the answer but, definetly not a stock spoiler.

Yeah, that car is an abortion. Never built that way. Something was changed, most likely the hatch. Less likely the front end and doors and TA ground effects.
For the record, in '96 when the "outwardly badged" WS6 "ram air" option was introduced, the uplift spoiler was still an option on T/As (not avail on Formulas unless it was via SLP on a Formula Firehawk). There were a few '96 T/A WS6s built w/o the T43 uplift spoiler. It may have become a "mandatory option" or was added to the WS6 package sometime during the '96 MY. By '97, all T/A WS6s had the T43 spoiler and it was still apparently an option on T/A as there were a few '97 T/As built w/o this uplift spoiler. By '98, the uplift spoiler was included on all T/As, regardless of whether it was a WS6 or not.
