steering wheel interchange

iv got the shitty looking 94 steering wheel and i want to upgrade to the 02 style. will the air bag plug in the same? am i gonna run into any problems?

do you know if it was the same connector from 93-02?

I believe there was some sort of change after 95 since there is an airbag module on the radiator support for 93-95 but not for 96+. I'd say your best bet would be to find a 95 airbag.

I actually switched to a '93/'94 Sunbird wheel and there is no airbag and no radio controls, just two horn buttons. I like it, and it still says Pontiac.
