Red face Making Ram-Air Functional

I have a 2001 T/A and I bought a functional ram air hood, a SLP lid and cold air induction but it forces air from the bottom. How do I get the air forced in from my hood too? Sorry to show my ignorance.

De-baffle the hood and seal the airbox to the hood

the general consensus is to only use 1 ram air system, i.e. either the hood or the cold air induction. the theory is that whichever one is pushing in less air will allow the air entering through the other to be pushed out that one instead of into the engine.

food for thought.

Post Raised WS6 lowered airbox?

Danny2tek, what do you mean by a raised WS6 lowered airbox? Never heard of it? Unless its something that already comes with a WS6...

The WS6 TA comes with a different lower air. The opening were the air gets sucked in is more raised (sits higher), almost perfectly aligned with the nostrils of the Ram Air hood

I have the brian greene ram air system on my car. I dont know if he still makes it or not but its a plate and seal which takes up the gap between the hood and airbox and seals it so it only draws air through the hood nostrils. It also had optional baffles which fit inside the hood after the factory deflectors were removed and smoothed the flow of air and directed it toward the airbox.
