Default Strange headlight issue

so i was driving to work yesterday and my headlights came up with out me touching the switch. i then had to move it back and forth like 15-20 times for them to go down only for them to come back up again in like 10 min. this even happened when the car was off. i parked it with them down and i cam back to them being up! what is up with that! is there a way to fix this? it is both headlights, but they only go up and do not turn on unless i turn the switch on. any advice welcome

I'd guess a short somewhere... but as where to start looking? hmmm

Is there a relay that actuates the motors? I would look for that, I've had burned relays that will do funny stuff like that.

so still haven't figured this out, i pulled the fuse so no headlights right now. is there a main box or module that controls the headlights? cause that is what i am thinking, that it is a bad relay or connection. cause the switch is not bad and the fogs done come on at the same time, so it has to be a motor control or relay issue, or something....?

Sounds like it's haunted to me. Pour some Holy Water into your coolant.

Really tho, that sounds irritating. Make sure to post up when you find the fix. We can get it added to the sticky.

Sounds like the switch is bad itself.
