has anyone ever installed a light under their hood on a 93-02 Trans Am? i just wonder sometimes why GM stop putting lights in the engine compartments of some vehicles,they must have forgot that us car guys sometimes work on our cars at night

IMO the under hood lights weren't worth a damn when doing any real work. But as Ethan said they have these new inventions called work light that are actually useful

Save yourself the trouble of installing a light that isn't very bright and doesn't do the best job of illuminating the engine bay anyways.

Invest $10 in a Mini Maglite. I keep one in my console.
