Default 79 Trans Am snowflake wheels color question

I just bought a super clean 79 Solar Gold Trans Am with 50k on it. My question is, the current wheels on it are likely the original wheels but seem to have no color in the spokes. Other than the unlikely chance of finding a buildsheet, is it possible to determine if the wheels should or should not have been gold? It just seems strange to see the car in gold with "clear" snowflakes". Thanks in advance.

Just because the car is Solar Gold doesn't mean the wheels will be the same. I've seen them both ways. I had a Solar Gold `79 aswell and it's original 7" flakes were Gold. I later replaced them with a perfect set of Gold 8" (WS6) Flakes.

Post some pics.

My yellow 79 TA had gold snowflakes. Yellow is reasonably close to solar gold, lol.
