Default parts exchange question

Will the front end of a 2000 WS6 bolt onto a 97 firebird? A friend of mine got rearended and we've found a decent 97 bird and are going to swap his drivetrain (I know it's harder being and LT1 car but it's really cheap) into the bird and we were thinking about swapping the nose and hood too if it would swap.
Thanks

Awesome thanks for the link. I didn't know the model years so I wasn't having any luck searching.

It looks good, but it takes alot of work to get that front end aligned such that it does not look like it was a back alley job. I still need to better align my front end. Once I have it rebuilt, I might just splurge and have a professional body man do it.
