Need Help!!!!!! OVERHEATING
I have a 97 TA with the lt drove it to work the other day and temp got to 240 and shut it off. towed it home changed the water pump new 180 thermo and changed the fluids. no collant in oil. My problem now is at idle the car get to 235 or 240 just sitting i have the fans on a man switch and is correct flow. And i have no heat thru my heater. i did see some sign on water on the pass side of the rad.
ANY HELP WOULD BE GOOD.

Just some options for you to look at. You said you changed the pump and thermostat, t-stat is in correctly right? You also say that you have no heat, but the car is getting really hot, that tells me you have a possible blockage, or a really big air bubble in your system. You said you see water on the radiator?.....mabe your radiator has a leak....?

If you have no heat then most likely you have a clogged up heater core. Take it someone and have them flush the system or try it yourself with a garden hose. I used a hose with an attachment that shot the water out with a decent amount of pressure and just ran it through the heater core, alternating hoses, until the water started coming out clear again. This may work for you and it may not. Just something to try.
