Default What's This (Photo)?

I was fixing my headlight motor gear and noticed these tubes just chilling (Pardon the cell phone shot):

Any idea what they are or where they belong? I didn't get a chance to dig since I had to get my motorcycle tire patched - ran over an $80 nail

One smaller tube attaches to the large tube and goes back towards the wheel well and is attached. Another smaller tube is also attached to the large tube (on the side) which you can see and goes to nothing at the moment.

There's a K&N FIPK kit on it. It's an open filter with a metal backing plate just like this:

To me, it looks like it might be the remains of the AIR system.

3rd the AIR. If you don't have a code for it, it's probably tuned out. Pull the fuse for it, if the previous owner hasn't already.

It looks like the entire motor for it is gone, just remove the tubing for it.

Thanks guys. Passed PA Emissions Inspection. No CEL. Does this mean there is a tune? I was looking to take the car to get tuned in a week or two...

Am I going to see the fuse listed when I pop the hood, or is this something that requires a bit more digging? I'm thinking this may be a contributing factor to my driving like **** issue right now:
