93 trans am heater core?
About 99 percent sure my heater core is leaking so I am gonna tear into it this weekend. Any helpful tips or suggestions to make this fun project easier? Im figuring it's gonna be an all day thing but I am hoping its not an all weekend thing.

Should just take a couple of hours if that.
1: remove glove box
2. remove plastic panel under the dash directly behind the glove box.
3. drain remaining coolant (this could also be step one)
4. remove heater hoses. Don't break them! They will be nice and dry rotted. Gently twist and pull.
5. Remove heater core firewall retainer. ( this can be tricky, there is a clip with a small vertical screw holding the aluminum tubes in place.
6. Pull the heater core out.
7. Put it all back together.
8. Bleed system and check for proper operation of HVAC.
