Trans Am keeps dying Just installed a new Spec Stage 1 clutch in my ls1 trans am...
Just installed a different t56 (borg warner I think) (& my stock was a tremec) with just a little less miles. Came out of a z28.
Now that the new clutch and tranny is in, it will start for maybe 2 seconds then it will die.
Why is it dying?
Thinking maybe the shim needs to come out?? The tranny is going into gear.. maybe its too far foward with the shim and its putting too much pressure on my motor.
AND when I put it in first gear and start it, it jumps forward then dies.
