01 SOM WS6 build thread
Just wanted to get a build thread up for my 01 Trans Am! I have owned it since October 09, and have managed to not mod it much yet. One of the previous owners had added a few mods including 18" Boyds, 3 inch drop, Clear lid, Borla catback, and ram air mod.
I have spent most of my car time this year on my mustang. Did a drum to disk brake swap as well as suspension upgrades and new wheels and tires.
Plans for the trans am include -
Sand and polish fog lights which currently have the TA logo painted on them
Strip and paint ram air honeycomb grates thinking I will go back to black with them
CETA mod likely using gloss black
Corsa nock off tips. One side of my borla tip has a gouge in it.
Long tubes, X pipe, cut out
Fixes and updates finished -
Drivers side window motor... no way!
Replaced drivers side interior handle piece with correct color ebony piece
Replaced interior piece under turn signal
Installed 10 inch JL, 600w Kenwood amp, and JVC head unit
Stickers removed from intake lid and back window
Here are some pics from the day I got it -

Got a chance to get some pictures after a wash detail and wax about a month ago. I was attempting to capture the darker side of SOM but the parking lot lights made it look amazing none the less. Both myself and the camera were having a hard time with the focus.
My apologies for forgetting the lic plate cover at home!

It just looks like the focus was off somewhat. I do some cartography with my baby. Getting great night shots can be tough though. Idk what type of camera you have, but messing with the settings or using night mode is a good place to start. You should post some updated pics when you get the fogs fixed.

Thanks for the tips about the settings, my roomate has a tripod so I will remember to grab that next time.
I made some progress with the fogs today since it was nice out. Pulling them out of the car was a pain! This link had some good pics that helped me out quite a bit.

Also popped the fender vents out to get them ready to paint.
