Default Clicking????

Getting a strange clicking sound coming from the front of my 1999 trans am. Can’t tell for sure what side it is on but I think it’s the passenger side. The sound varies with speed and will normally stop as I apply the brakes. Ideas?

That's common with the 16" "ABS" Chrome-wheeled cars since the chrome plating can flake off on the inside. I'm assuming you still have the stock polished aluminum 17" wheels on your car, so that issue wouldn't apply.

You could have a brake caliper that is dragging.

Yes i am still sporting the stock 17s but have a SSBC brake kit that has only been on the car for about 2 years.
