A t model means the car has the removable roof panels called T-tops. MPG for a V8 is about 15-28 depending on the driver and city/highway. Keep in mind the LS1 takes premium gas.

It's a superb choice if you respect the power it brings, especially in wet conditions, BUT before you think about it any further check how much your insurance is going to be. From what I have read here over the years, teenagers pay a small fortune to insure these cars. The cost may prohibit you from buying one at this point. Maybe Oklahoma isn't too bad for coverage.

Uh......NO. Not even close. Yes, both will put wind in your hair, but in a 'vert, you don't have to leave the driver's seat to drop the top or find a place to put the glass panels.

This is what a t-top looks like with the panels removed.

Sladster2, if you read the owners manual it does say premium for the LS1. I never use the cheap gas for my cars.

they run on regular unleaded but they sound like crap. major rattle. if you run premium it runs a lot smoother.
