How do I set up my 2002 WS6 -hard street!!

So what I have right now is a 02 ws6 t top 6 speed with a vortech super charger 8 lb boost pulley
And long headers no cats and a 3" boral exhaust !

Pro 5.0 shifter
Weld 17 ultra lights 275-40-17
Stock rear 342''s

Please list the next best steps I should do
Whats the ideal wheel size to get great traction - must be a 17 or 18 rim

I also love great handling and a comfortable ride as I am 44 and tired of bottoming out

Thank you joe

For the best traction, I'd focus mainly on what kind of tires you wanna install on your rear wheels.

For example, what I did, I bought myself 4 American racing Torque-Thrust II's and put your average street radials on the front (i.e. I have BFG g-force sport comps) and for the rear wheels, I chose a pair of Nitto NT05R's.

The Nittos have superior traction for both the street (when dry) and the strip.

All I can say is, look at the specs/reviews on what you want and find what fits you needs the best. Hope my example helped!

You won't have the ideal launch with a great handling Fbody, or good handling with a car that launches best. You will have to choose which is more important to you. There are "in betweens" you can get away with though.
If you want good handling and ride do NOT buy dragshocks (qa1s, strange, afco etc), stay away from poly bushings, over sized rear swaybars and short torque arms.

Next best thing is make a list of topics you wish to know more about and then use this website's Search feature. Wheels & Tires Forum and Suspension & Brakes Forum would both be good places to start.
