Default Barrett Jackson - NEW 1993 Firehawk

Tuesday night (Jan 15) BJ auction featured a NEW 1993 Red Firehawk with 69 miles on the odometer. It still had the plastic on the seats and the window sticker indicated a price of $21,230. What a gorgeous car that someone simply stored away for the past 20 years. It was stunning! It sold for $22,500 plus the buyer's premium (usually 10%). Not much of a return on investment for the owner but someone got the new '93 Firehawk they always wanted at basically the same price as 20 years ago.

The buyer has money left over for drag radials.....ha ha

Seriously, a car in that condition should stay in that condition.

I also agree with all great car, would have thought it would go for a few more bucks! (Low mile & A1 cond.) Wonder when the Gen IV will start to pick up in price? Meachem auction claims now is the time to buy because they look for prices to start to rise. Unlike the Camaro there will never be another Firebird, Trans Am, FireHawk factory built, that's got to be worth something!

Factor inflation into the mix and he lost money. $22 grand went a lot further back then than it does today. That's a shame that someone bought the car and held on to it all those years and never got to enjoy it. Cool that it's still like new... not cool on the money invested.

...and the fact that is a 93 I don't think the engine help.
If it was at least a 98-02 LS1 it would of gone a lot higher.

I think one day they will bring good money. I know when I am older and have extra cash for toys like that I will probably be willing to pay above sticker for a brand newish F body in 2025. I still don't see LS cars selling for sticker either.

I saw that also and was wondering when it'd pop up here.

I like the wheels also. Aren't they Impala SS wheels?

I was at the Auction this week and saw this one in person. Amazing condition. You forget how bright that red was when new.

Wheels looked amazing. You can tell they never had brake dust on them.

These are the ROH wheels and I think they were either made for this car or came out at the same time. They came on the 93/94 cars. I have a set on my 97 WS6 and love them . I know ROH sold these retail for other cars cause I had a friend with a 90 mustang LX with the same wheels.

This low mileage '94 Firehawk looked pretty sweet too, down in Kissimmee at Mecum auctions today. $13,000 + BP (buyer's premium, which I believe is 6% at Mecum).

here's the odometer pic and the car bing checked in at mecum and a pic with a ying/yang theme i took with it and my car when they first got it a few months ago.

Missed that one. That's one heck of a nice low mileage ride for that kind of money unless something was wrong with it.
