Default Thinking of selling my 2000 Trans Am- return to stock or sell as is?

If this is the wrong forum please forgive me, I figured I would get more help in here rather than the classifieds. This is not a for sale ad.

I have a Trans Am I am thinking of selling that I have made some upgrades to that may or may not have increased the value. I am just trying to figure out if it is better to sell as is or remove all of the upgraded parts that have value of they're own and sell as a stocker. What do you think?

The facts;
2000 Trans Am
LS1 6 speed
105k miles
paint is fair with some minor dents and scuffs

The upgrades;
Factory GM ram air hood
American racing TT2 wheels and nitto tires w/ 275' & 315's <500 miles
Strano springs and Koni shocks, UMI lca brackets and panhard bar <500 miles
Fast 78 intake, TB and fuel rails
Underdrive pulley and billet accessory pulleys (never installed)

The pics

I had always thought that you never really get out what you put in (selling car as a whole). You might get back 1/3 of what you put in. At that point, IF I was selling my bird, I would return it to stock and at least recieve some money back from the parts I put on.

That is exactly my thoughts, considering most of the parts have very few miles on them.

It is highly unlikely that you will get any extra money for your car by keeping the mods on. Very few buyers are paying extra for mods, even on beautiful low mileage machines. Return the car to stock (if not too costly) and make a few bucks selling the mods, if you don't mind making the effort.
Best of luck!!

I would say try to sell it first for what you want. If you can't get that, then assess the trade off of replacing to stock and selling those aftermarket parts separately.

If you have the stock parts... Advertise that.

If you want cheap good WS6 wheels.... PM me.

I personally don't think changing a car like yours back to stock will net anything more in the sale.

Is that damage in the rear bumper corner? Or just a bad polish job and funny reflection?

I have all of the parts including hardware that came off the car. I could probably put it back to stock in a day.

Don't mind me asking but how much would you let the TT2's go for?
