Default Ashtray switch panel

I know it's not a firebird specific thing but I just bought a panel from emblemz pros and it looks to be a bit too wide and doesn't have clearance for the lids arms to close, anybody ever had this kind of an issue before or am I just doing it wrong?

Well I broke down and just filed on it for an hour and got it to sit in there nice. While I was messing with the interior I fixed my glove box door, need to adjust a little but no more falling open

did you take any pics of what you did to the panel? I'd be interested to see how far you had to shave it to make it fit.

Mine fit without any issues at all. Got it about 8 months back.

I can take some pics and I guess you could compare it to the one on their site but I had to shave both sides so you can only tell a little from the imperfections what I did

Which panel did you get?

did it come with wires our the back of the switches or do you have to solder and run your own?

So I'm an idiot, realized the other day that I had ordered the one for an auto and I guess they are different than the manuals but I got mine to fit and have the switches I can use wired up but here's some pictures
