Default Replacing fuel pump on 93 trans am

Hey guys i was wondering if i would be ok the make a cut in side of the trunk on my car to replace the fuel pump instead of droping the exaust and gas tank?

I've seen quite a few people do this. Just don't forget to cover up the access hole with something....and to use a sealant so you don't have exhaust and gas fumes making their way into the cab.

Word...cutting a hole in the floor is hack IMO.

I Have done this in my 94 and it makes life easyer, but I do have problems with fumes and that's after I rvt a plate over the hole
