I've never seen that color. Looks like you got some springs by the last pic? Looks clean. Not sure how those 6s stand up to boost, but it's an idea.

Thanks, man.. although I think the purple gets a lot more attention than it really deserves sometimes, both good and bad. I still love it, though, but I would still rock the Maple Red Metallic in a heartbeat.

My car has 19" wheels on it now, I dunno if I'd wanna go bigger. I sometimes wonder if they're too big and don't like having a extra set of wheels for taking it to the track... but they look so badass on the car I can't bring myself to change them.

Yea, I can only imagine the attention you get from the cops. And I was thinking bout painting it but I guess not. People seem to love this color so much. The 19s look perfect on your car. Not too big but not too small.

Actually I don't get that much from cops, I drive pretty mellow on the street for the most part... my Red '99 T/A attracted 10 times the attention this thing does.

And yeah, don't repaint it. MRM is an awesome color.

Definitely do not repaint. Very limited # of cars made it out from 2000-2002 with Maple Red Metallic, especially a Formula. Good rim choice also.

Yea, I'm definitely gonna keep it this color now. If anything I'll get the paint touched up. And my bird had the firehawk wheels on it when I bought it from the dealership.

Nice car and I love the color. My TA is a nice color (Pewter) but the Maple Red is The color I would want, if I could have found one.

Heeey Maple Red Metallic representing! Very clean car, makes me look forward to getting mine resprayed. Most wouldn't know mine isn't a formula just looking at it unless I got on it or they looked under the hood or figured out what the plate meant...

Nice to see another MRM bird on this site. Color really is great. I go some spray wax that I spray on from time to time without even washing the car and man, it just makes that color go . It definitely stands out. And I like your plate. It made me start thinking of things to put on my bird. It's crazy cause I had to nissan 350z's behind me @ a light like 2 days afte I bougth it. So they started reving their engines and I starting reving mine. So when the light turned green and I pulled off to turn right all I heard were tires squealing from the 350z's. I once I hit the corner I floored it and burned rubber hitting the turn.. I was excited as hell because I was like they probably think this is a V6 because most people think regular Firebirds are.
