Default Best Cold Air Induction for LS1??

Not sure if i'm posting this in the correct section...
but anyways I'm pretty sure you've seen plenty of threads but just wondering what's the best cold air induction i can get for my 02 ram air.
I've heard plenty of good things about the Fast Toys lid, and also good things about the SLP Lid and the Volant Dual Cones...
I was leaning towards the Volant because of the looks.
Money is not a problem for me.
Just wondering what would be better. If the Volant is only a couple rwhp under the racing toys then i'd just go for the volant since it wouldn't be much of a difference and I like the looks...
Any Dyno proof on these?
I'm open to suggestions not just these 3...
Any help is much appriciated thanks!

A lid of your choice and a bottom breathing ram air kit like the SSRA or chrs1313.

Since SLP converted the Firehawk and SS Camaro, I feel they have a pretty good lid. GMHTP also did a lid comparison maybe 6 years ago and the SLP lid came in first.

Only on '02 Hawks built after a certain date, and SS's with the 345hp package. Which SLP lid, the Blackwing or aftermarket?

i would set my goals on the car first before spending on a 90mm slp lid.

never spend twice.. if you could get the whole induction done at once including heads and cam ... well then i would straight away go with the best out there.

I use SSRA it does the job. Any lid will do. I use a FTP 98mm lid. Did I need the bigger lid? Nah, I just figured I would upgrade the whole intake setup when the FAST 92 went on.

Did I read that you have a WS6 hood, why not run a flipperd lid? I would think you would get more/colder air that way

get a Nick williams 102 TB later on you won't need to change it when you get the fast 102 . when you get the fast get the fuel trims with it.

there was a comparison of "cfm" on the ls6,92,102 intakes.. and i've based what i said from there.. it clearly shows a difference of 10 more or less

e.g.
ls6- 10cfm
92- 18cfm
102- 32cfm
^^just an example

i'm not sure where i saw this thread but its here on ls1tech.
it really tells you by the readings that you should really spend on a 102 rather than just waste it on a 92 which you'll change on later.

don't forget to get a lid with that setup .. since you already stated u'll get the 102 intake .. you are better off on the 104mm FTP.

again never spend twice
