Question Why would rear blinker flash but not the front?

I just replaced the housing and blinker socket and bulbs (3457a) and when I turn the lights on the bulbs light up but when I turn on the blinker either left or right or turn on hazards the rears will flash but the fronts will not. Any reason why it would do this?

You should check your blinker fluid level

Check all the relay's? Fuses? Try disconnecting the battery to reset everything? May or not be the fix but just spitting out options..

I don't know if everything is the same, I've never had any electrical issues like that (knock on wood). I don't know how everything is wired and have basic knowledge from classes I took in high school lol. Could even have a short in the wiring as well.. Plenty of options. Hoping somebody with more knowledge will chime in and confirm any of the sources I gave you.

So you replaced the DRL socket? There are 2 wires to it. Could it be possible that you may have reversed the connection of those wires? Did you connect them well? I suspect the wires are reversed. When I did mine I kept this in mind before removing the old one.

It's been a year, perhaps there were 3. Since I soldered them I swear I remembered 2. Anyways, glob some die-electric grease in there so it doesn't fry like the old one. So you're sure each socket wire is matched up to the others. Can you do an electrical test on each wire to ensure all 3 are getting power? At some point in this leg there is a short or faulty component. If you don't have a meter there's always the Harbor Frieght 10 dollar special.

Well I went and used a test light, the the ground (black wire) has nothing coming to it, the drl wire gets power when lights are on, and the blinker wire gets nothing when blinker is turned on. I color matched the wires Brown with brown, black with black and blue with blue. I even tried switching Brown with blue and blue with brown and all that did was light up the drl brighter but still no blinker. And I just went and bought another Flasher from autozone part number EL12. So I know its not the Flasher.... Does anyone have color coded wire diagram of the blinkers? I'm at a loss here

Black is the ground...

DRL-daytime running lights... And yes, that is what you are having issues with. No clue where it is located.

**** u sir

well it fixed it, but now of course another problem has came up... the driver side blinker does not blink nor does the DRL work, and the hazards do not work in the rear but it works up front in the passenger side (i never use me hazards but just throwing it out there to help whoever actually knows anything and doesnt keep saying blinker fluid)

.... the parking lights come on when i turn the lights on but thats it.... im thinking hoping since i didnt replace that socket only the passenger side socket that its just corroded and needs to be replaced, they sell the socket at my autozone so ill try that tomorrow... in the mean time, i have a semi victory
