SWAP LS7 to an LS1 car
What do I need to make this happen. I have a 2000 TA LS1, I want to go with a larger bore then what an LS1 block/sleeve will allow. I would like to just swap for an LS3/7 and call it good but I'm sure its not gonna be that easy. Any positive insight into this kinda project would be helpful.

I think it's a great idea. The LS3 and LS7 engines are both gen IV so you'll need to re-work wiring and electronics. Lingenfelter has a 58x to 24x converter box.
For the LS7, you need to remove the dry sump components from the engine and use "normal" oil pump gear and a F Body oil pan.

the car would be fast if it can put the power down but with ls7's used price being astronomical its most certainly won't be a bang for buck kinda deal seen a few on corvette forums for sale saw a thread one was claimed to be warranty replaced motor uninstalled for $8500
