Default Convertible and Coupe Seat Belt Guides

I know the convertibles had the slot in them to make it easier to get the belt in and out, but is there any downside to the convertible ones?

The install is easier. Why not just replace a conv. guide with a coupe guide?

Are there any negatives besides not looking 100% original?

Installation of the coupe guides, ..., Ever tried it?!?
It requires a LOT more work, like removing the lower mounting, etc., etc., ...
Yes, coupe guides can be done. But they're a pain, ...

Coupe guides are easy -- you just need the correct size torx bit. I'd definitely go with convertible guides if you're replacing them as you'll gain a bit more flexibility when needing to climb in the back.

True enough but I have the problem that the belt slips out of the slot every time I put my belt on, passenger side is the same way. I'm going to replace the convertible ones with the correct ones in my car.
