Yep, 2.75". You can get the 3" one you posted though, that's what I'm using.

I personally would not use it, but it could be made to work.

The 3" one will be easier to weld to the factory exhaust since it can slip over the pipe.

Agreed. You could even get some of those torque-tite clamps if you weren't able to get it welded.

wouldn't the 2.5 slide into the stock exhaust then and be a wedge fit and you could weld it?

You don't want to choke down the exhaust by decreasing it.

.25" smaller isn't going to be any more a wedge than the factory exhaust would be being .25" smaller than the cutout. Like mentioned above, you don't want to choke it anymore than it already is, so go bigger rather than smaller.

My stock WS6 was all 2 1/2 inch.

Well got the ordere changed to a 3 inch. I will be welding it on there and clamps to since the kit comes with them so i think i should be good now but thanks for the help!

My car isn't a ws6 its just the regular ls1 trans am
