Default Stumped with single hi-beam light

01 V6 firebird. My right hi beam light isn't working. Both low beams are fine (aftermarket hid) and left hi beam is fine. I've swapped hi beam headlamps and the right side is still out, ruling out the actual headlamp. A voltmeter to the right hi beam plug reveals the proper voltage reading. I've checked all fuses and have found no issues. My front right turn signal build was broken but after replacing the hi beam issue persists. I'm totally stumped, does anyone have any suggestions? Appreciate it!

Welcome to LS1tech! SEARCH will be your best friend around here.

Confirm the lamp is good by testing it on the other side.

Now plug it into the right side. turn the highbeams on and take another volt reading with the lamp plugged in.

Wait...

RT Hi Beam plug has both B+ and Gnd, and you swapped the LH and RH lights and the problem doesn't follow the lamp - that is very weird.

Any updates?

what was wrong with the factory lights that work with no issues? just take those ricey things off and stay with the flock.
