ls1 swap questions
Hi everybody
I have a 1988 firebird that I'm doing an ls1 swap in and I need a lot of help figuring out what to do. The engine will put down maybe 430hp at the wheels.
The first question is will the stock fuel pump be able to hold up to the new engine, or would it starve the engine of fuel. If I did do a new pump I would want an in tank pump. It is a street car so I don't need anything super extreme.
The second question is about the suspension. I want to do a full tubular set up I was thinking about the spohn tubular k-member kit on hawksthirdgenparts.com, but I have no idea if there is a better kit out there. I've done a lot of searching but kits like that for a third gen are kinda hard to find.
Any advise is welcome.
Thanks everybody
