Default 1996 Formula WS6 1LE, Rare?
Guys, I just picked up a 1996 Ram Air formula 1LE! How rare is this car?

I think they only made about 550 Ws6 Formula's in 1996. It might be 547 but I can't recall the exact number. So yes, it is a rare car. Good find!

This is a 1LE, so it's even rarer than a regular WS6. The 1LE was always built with a WS6 Formula, and typically they were 6-speed stripper cars (no power accessories, cloth interior, hard top) and then they also came with an upgraded suspension, and an oil cooler.

1996 1LEs are super rare. Like 10 total made. So yeah, this car is a total score.

Correct, 10 1LE WS6s built in '96. CompNine's database actually shows only 6, with only ONE of them in 81U Bright Red (2 of the other 5 were 10U White, 1 13U Silver, 2 41U Black) It may be possible one of the other 4 missing from CompNine's database are red too, but maybe not. In any case, you have a single-digit rare car, possibly a 1 of 1.

More pic's coming this evening. I bought the car from an older gentleman out of Florida this week. It's a one owner with 58K miles, been in storage for 8 years & it's all stock except a Vortech Supercharger.

Yeah, I was reading that they came with A/C for certain years... '96 being one of them. That's why I didn't mention A/C delete..
