Default INOP, Low Trac, TCS light all on?

New here, coming from the third gen site though. I have a '99 T/A and all of the INOP, Low Trac and TCS lights come on intermittently but my TCS never seems to actually be off and I definitely don't have low traction when that light comes on. I did notice that when the INOP light was on this morning it felt like my brake pedal was pulsating like my ABS was activating under normal braking conditions, but that's the first time it's done it. It didn't brake me hard or anything, it just pulsated and I stopped normally. It only did it for like, half my trip to work then it worked normal again but the light remained on. Any help would be appreciated as to what it could be!!!

Welcome to LS1tech!

There must be a sensor or wiring issue in the system.

You can have it scanned to get a better idea where to start looking for the problem.

Where would I go about getting it scanned at? Would just a regular OBD scanner work?

Does it have the factory wheels and tire size? Or do you have aftermarket wheels / sizes?

Yep, factory wheels and tires. It has UMI LCA, LCA relocators, and rear sway bar though.

A regular OBDII scanner will not show those codes. You will have to either go to a dealer or a shop that has a Tech 2 scanner.

i'm betting wheel speed sensor or ABS module. Get it scanned first though.

Take it to an autozone that has the "heavy duty" scanner.
Just call around and ask them if they have a scanner that can read the ABS codes since most of them only have the little OBDII code reader.

Check the alternator...too. That was the first sign when mine went bad...Then A/C shut off...Was fine under highway speeds...But when at traffic lights the dash lit up like a xmas tree..

So I removed and cleaned all the sensors in the rear end but nothing worked. Can't find a shop around here that won't do it without me having to drop my car off for the day and have them run tests. Auto Zone doesn't have a scanner for it. I haven't checked anything in the front though, and all the grounds are secured. However, I did read somewhere that the third break light having a bulb out could somehow affect this? Does the third brake light have a third bulb? If so, I may need to change one...lol

Take it to just brakes they will scan it on spot for 20$ most likely low voltage .....which results in replacing ebcm on the front of the ABS module .....

or its cause you bleed your brakes and didn't have it reset by a tech 2 scanner and and that's what its detecting ....air pockets

as for the wheel sensors I never replaced mine but when I tried to the ones auto zone gave me didn't fit they said they went to a different model said the sensors would get to hot and give faulty readings...in which case EBAY FTW!!!!!!!!
