Ok, I am an ***. I got the postcard from my insurance company demanding my mileage due to my Fire chicken being a garage queen. They do not believe me when I say recreational use. So I went out to the garage and was going to take a picture and show them. Figured i could turn the wheel a bit to get it out of the way (prior to putting in the key)and something snapped. Now the wheel does not lock anymore but clicks where it is supposed to (again without the key) Did I break the column lock or maybe the ignition tumbler? I have scenes in my head of a broken pin slipping into a spot when I am driving and locking my steering wheel in a turn.....need your help on this one guys.
