I think i have a very RARE 97 firebird formula convertible... can anyone help?
I have a 97 firebird formula convertible and I have been told that only 41 were made. I have also been told that out of the 41 none were red. however mine I believe was red. the code on the door shows u8774 which I believe is red. Can anyone confirm if there were any 97 firebird formula convertibles made that were red?
Thank you

There were definitely very few made but before you get too excited and start thinking big $$$, remember that the value in rare or unusual cars is reserved for those in excellent, mostly 'stock' condition with very low miles. If that applies to you, great! If not, the money isn't there unfortunately.
Here is an example of what I am talking about, a '97 somewhat 'rare' LT1 (same year like yours) that sold for a whole $7,500 (plus BP) at this past week's Mecum auction. A pretty sweet ride that sold for 'used car' money. Looks stock with the exception of the Interstate battery.

Ok that's what I wanted to know. I have it listed on eBay right now and asking 3500 for it. I wanted to know the details on this car because a buyer had me thinking that this was not a formula model and that someone added the Lt 1 engine into it. Thanks again for clearing that up.
