Default Does this look accurate?

Within the next year I would like to get a ws6 (98-02) and do not want it to be stock.

I am looking for a streetable car that runs mid 12's and would like to get a mods list going

This is what I came up with so far...

Car-$14000
Lid-$100
Fast intake manifold with TB-$900
Headers all the way back- $1500
Subframe connectors (bolt in) $350
drag radials- $800
9 in rear end (needed at this stage?) $1100
M6 transmission (factory)

Total of $18750

Does this budget seem close to accurate? What would this 1/4 mile time look like?
Thanks

Welcome to LS1tech!

You don't really have anything that adds any power. Stock in good running order and an intake, headers and tune you might see 320~340 RWHP.

I had a '94 Formula with 365 at the wheels and I ran 13.1 at 107 on drag radials.

I'd say you need to add about a hundred RWHP. A cam and heads should do it.

So I am looking at that budget with another $2000 in parts and install to complete it?

I might be able to install it myself but I dont have any mechanic friends right now.

you could pull it off i think, my 98 camaro had a lid, 85mm tb and intake, long tubes, orx, and 3.73's with no suspension mods, and nitto tires, ran a 12.8 spinning bad, car dyno'd at 360/360 to the tires

$1100 seems pretty cheap for a 9" rear end.

Agreed. $1100 would get you a housing and axles. Complete is probably $2500-$3000.

I also think the $14000 for the car is a bit high unless you are looking for a firehawk.
