DRL LED switchback

DRL LED switchback
spent most of today replacing my old discolored and cracked drl housings and putting in led bulbs, looks awesome but I do need some help if someone could point me in the direction of a good thread on how to get the flasher to work properly with them lol.

also the last photo I have the car off and just turned the lights on, is there a way to have the car running, headlights off, and have the white lights on instead of the amber? That's kind of the main reason I wanted to do this I thought they would only be amber when the turn signal was going haha

looks good mate as far as the flasher goes you will need a load resistor if you are going to run your stock thermal flasher or swap it out for an electronic flasher. And only thing I can think of to switch the color is to swap the 2 positive cables going to the bulbs.

ok so I can do either or, Which would you say is easier? I don't know much about electronics but I'm easy to teach lol I can't believe there isn't a decent thread on here, or at least one that I can find

I found a pretty good thread on it, here is the link in case anyone else is thinking about this and doesn't know what they are doing haha! https://ls1tech.com/forums/appearanc...-problems.html

I just went with the load resistors myself as I'm not sure which flasher to get. Adding the load resistor was very simple and just requires splicing them in on 2 of the cables whereas the flasher you will need to find the right one and one that also makes the signal noise as well. Maybe someone else can help us find some that would be a direct replacement flasher???

You can try the Can Bus LED's. They have the resistor built into the bulb. I have a few cars that had the hyper flash and these stopped the hyper flash. If I can find it I have a chart for part #'s on which flasher you can use to prevent the hyper flash.
