Need some information on speedometer please

Hello, this may have been asked before but i couldn't find it...Will a speedometer from a 98 + TA work or fit in a 95 TA? I have tried searching but could not find an answer.

Pretty sure the 98 was special and will only work with 98 fbodys. I think your stuck with 93-97 cluster.

'95 was pre OBDII, which means the PCM that talks to the IP is probably not cross-compatable, possibly not even w/ a '96 (which was OBDII).

Not sure about the '98 unique thing though, pretty sure the IPs from '98-'02 were all the same.
