I have a stock 98 T/A and I'm pulling my hair out over this no start issue. I initially thought it was the fuel pump because it would prime correctly sometimes. I changed the whole pump assembly and got it to fire for about 3 or 4 seconds then it would die. Now the pump primes for about 1 second if that and it turns over but will not run. I changed the fuel pump relay. I jumped the
Bat wire from the relay to the pump and the pump works fine. The speedo jumps around when the key is on. Did the baker electronics fuel bypass module. Checked the resistance on the white wires under the column and it
matches the key. Tried a Bosch OBD2 scanner today and kept getting a data link error. Don't know where to go from here. Any advice is appreciated.
