First Time Firebird Owner!
So long story short, I've wanted a Trans AM for as long as I can remember, and I finally did it! Today I drove home my beautiful new Firebird Formula Firehawk! I know it's not quite a Trans Am, but close enough for me.
Details:
1999 Formula Firehawk
Automatic
Bright Red coupe
Every available SLP upgrade for Formula firehawks that year (minus the spoiler which wasn't available on the Formula Firehawks if I've heard correctly)
Needless to say, I'm super excited. video attached below

Congrats!
I'm also a long time Trans AM guy, and have had many by now:
1992 Firebird 305 V8, Blue/Green color
1997 Black Trans AM WS6/Ram-Air
2002 Black Trans AM Firehawk
2002 Red Trans AM Firehawk
Great cars, and its a crime that Firebird wont be made any longer.

That's quite a list. I plan on owning many more in my lifetime.

You found a very sweet Firehawk!
Aren't they rated at 345hp?

I love watching old videos like that when these cars were brand new. Included with the sale was a massive stack of old Pontiac magazines, firebird factory shop manuals, and every piece of Firehawk documentation available back then. It's cool to look through everything and see the history of these cars.

I'll keep an eye out as I sort through my stack. Are you looking for an original from that year? I don't think I have a lot that are that old. Mostly late 2000s pontiac mags

I'd like to get a hold of some magazines from when the car was new. No worries if you don't have any.

Thanks everyone. I've already fallen in love with it but the plan right now is to sell it and find a nice TA or WS6 to suit my daily driving needs. This car is just too nice to do that with and I don't really have the means of keeping around a second vehicle at the moment. I'm just happy to finally have gotten my hands on a Firebird like I've wanted for so long.
