1998 Formula: when the outside temp is near freezing the engine won't idle and is slow to build RPM then races and tries to die, I have to feather the go pedal for several mins. and warm up for 5-10 mins. before I can drive it. I'm thinking IACV. thanks for any input.

I'll second the IACV. I've heard you can free them up with some carb cleaner.

Mine did the same exact thing yours did one time (albeit for only 2 minutes at best) but it was closer to -30 here in Chicago a couple years ago. Hasn't done it since.

Thanks a lot for the insight KEVEN LEE finally got the chance to put a friends diagnostic on it pulled a bad TPS so I guess ill start there, and clean IAC. have a Happy New Year!!!!
