I build a stout "little" 383 LS1 engine for my 2002 Firehawk back in 2005.

Forged bottom end, 4.00" stroke, 11:0 compression. Mamo ported AFR heads, matched cam (moderate configuration 114LSA, my choice for drivability).
At the time 90mm FAST intake/TB & MAF.

Upgraded top end to match, 1 3/4" LT through a GMMG exhaust & Dyno tuned, It put down 490 hp / 450 TQ - keep in mind, most of my power was under and throughout the curve.

aren't 80lbs injectors overkill for that setup?

i run 60lbs on my 414 and could have gone smaller but at the time there wasnt anything between a 42 and 60 and 42 was pushing the duty cycle a bit.
