Default What was that temporary glitch?

Started the car this morning and it would not idle. Kept trying to die. Drove it about 20 miles. It ran terrible the whole trip. But it would idle after it got hot. When I would let off the throttle, it would drop to 500 rpm and then slowly climb to 750-800 rpm. Got in this afternoon to drive home and it started normally and drove normally. What gives with this?

Wow. 171 reads so far and no guesses or suggestions. I guess I've stumped the pros.

MAF or Fuel Pressure, clean TB check IAC and TPS. I don't think you stumped anyone just nobody cared or wanted to give an opinion on an issue that can be researched on the thread to get a diagnosis started
