Default trans am to ws6 seats

I have a 98 trans am with leather seats. I bought some used ws6 seats because i wanted the lumber support. I cannot find where to hook up the air lines on each seat the air pump is there also the electrical plugs look different. What am i missing

Those are actually not WS6-specific seats, what you're referring to are the AQ9 Articulating Bucket Seats. This was optional on all Trans Ams, WS6 or not (base seats were RPO AR9.)

Having said that, I'm not sure what sort of harness differences might exist between the AR9 and AQ9 optioned cars, but if you need components or different connectors you'd want to look up items for an AQ9 optioned Trans Am.

I did this on mine and at the time you could still go to the dealer and get the harness which back in 05-06 was 125 bucks. It uses the power from the same connector for the power seated option cars. the pump actually mounts on the passenger side and the harness runs across the trans tunel and connects to the powered seat connector on the driver side as there isnt one on the passenger. Air hose wise there should be two hoses that come out of the bottom of the back support of the seat I ended up having to by a double male brass hose barb to make mine work since I didnt buy the harness.

I actually just made a harness for this cause I was cheap. I picked up a 9 core stereo wire I had laying around and figured out how to wire it in.

or you can just buy this thing comes with the plugs and harness connectors should mate up to your seats just fine assuming the hoses are coming out of the seats
