HMM Now that some of us have seen the 09 Camaro spy pics?

That new Camaro looks SWEEET! But you'll never see it. GM will be broke before that car is ever released. The "retro" style has sold a lot of cars (Ford). GM slaps "retro" NAMES on cars. Like Impala "SS" with 200+ horsepower - my Honda has more HP than that! "GTO" - That's a "GTO"? They should be ashamed!
Before it's restoration, my 1967 Firebird started and ran everyday with nearly 200K on the clock. (the way GM was) The new GM truck that I spent 40 grand on can't even display the right amount of fuel thats in its tank! Americans want cool RELIABLE cars & trucks!
GM is only looking to price the Camaro a bit closer to the Corvette. They will suck in many unsuspecting enthusiasts with another poorly made vehicle with a flashy name. Camaro "SS", "RS", ect. But maybe not. Hopefully they will get their act together and build something we can be proud of.

I like the 4th generation more, GM is too late to get on the retro train. If Dodge comes out with the Challenger I'm there, the pricing is more reasonable for the working joe.

I drove a 94 Polo Green Camaro V6 for 8 years before I picked up my 2000 TA last Febuary, and I'm partial now to the looks of the 93-97 Camaro. If I were to get another Camaro ever, it would be a 97 Polo Green SS. The 09 concept doesn't really float my boat right now.

After seeing the Road & Track stuff that was out for a brief time yesterday (before being pulled), I still like the styling of the concept Camaro. I see styling ideas taken from the first gen primarily, but I really wouldn't call it a retro design.
It's a sharp car. If things change for me and I'm financially able to get one by the time they come out, I probably will go ahead and get one
