firebird side molding I have a 98 t/a white and the molding in the middle of the door is starting to look kind of shitty. Looks like it only held on with tape. any one got a pic or a bird with it off. and if i take it off will the paint underneath be ok. so in other words if i take it off will it look ok. Would like to see how it looks so if anyone get some pics can you plz post them.

I've heard people use fishing line to remove it but all I used was a plastic card much like a credit card. Just slide it inbetween the car/molding and "cut" all the way through. Then just rub the excess glue off with your thumb. Heres some pics of my car w/o the molding, sorry for the small size:
